Why Teletherapy?

Teletherapy seems to work well for those with limited access to care or who may be home-bound due to a physical injury or illlness. Teletherapy can help avoid long wait- list periods for an in-office provider and help to render services in a more timely fashion. Individuals hesitant about starting in-office therapy may feel more comfortable setting up a first time on-line session to ease their anxiety. Teletherapy can further be an efficient and cost effective option for busy parents, teachers, and primary care professionals who want to consult about a particular student or child without disrupting their entire work day.
